In 2017, NAPIT created the original, industry-first Codebreakers guide to assist inspectors with coding observations found during Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). At the beginning of November 2018, new for BS 7671:2018, The 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, NAPIT’s industry-leading Codebreaker book was officially launched at the ELEX Tradeshow in Sandown.
The original book was shortlisted at the Electrical Industry Awards 2018 for “Trade Tool of the Year”. Taking on constructive feedback it has evolved and now covers more information to guide contractors, inspectors, and clients through the pitfalls of this highly technical area of the industry.
This updated version has had input not only from NAPIT’s senior technical team, but also from a range of professionals across the industry, they truly wanted the publication to be representative of the modern working environment. Our CEO Ryan Dempsey, along with other #e5 group members, were amongst those involved and we can honestly say it is a ‘game-changer’. The Professional Electrician & Installer Magazine’s 2018 Annual Awards certainly thought so as they have awarded the new publication ‘Top Product Award’.
Mike Andrews and his team at NAPIT have developed something that really does help the industry with their fantastic understanding and vision.
